In our eye examinations, your optometrist will thoroughly assess your symptoms and health details. An accurate vision refraction reading using automated machinery and optometry refinement will be taken. We also run a binocular vision assessment to test the coherence between your eyes, a thorough external and internal eye examination using state of the art equipment, cameras and finally a review of the findings which your optometrist will go through with you. Your optometrist will run through the management plan, treatment and review of your eyes based on the findings from all the tests.
If further investigation by a GP or specific specialist is required, our optometrists can provide referrals where needed.
There are various health conditions that require more regular reviews and specific examinations (e.g., glaucoma, cataracts, diabetic patients etc.). Your optometrist will arrange a suitable review schedule and organise reminder letters/messages for you too. In addition, we provide various specific eye examinations including Vic Roads testing, Taxi screenings and School screenings.
We offer bulk billing on our eye tests which means that Medicare will pay for the total cost of your eye test. If you are a current Medicare cardholder, a comprehensive eye test can be bulk billed. All our optometrists at Spectacle Hub are experienced and qualified to perform a thorough eye examination. The test aims to detect any disease and conditions that could affect your eyesight as early as possible. We cover the cost of your tests through Medicare – you only need to pay for any extra lenses or treatment recommended by your optometrist if required.
At your appointment, you will experience many tests using state of the art equipment and technology. Your optometrist will run through the management plan, treatment and review of your eyes based on the findings from all the tests.
